The functionalities included adding, updating, and deleting products, along with monitoring sales reports. What I Learned

Starting My Second Project

After completing my first project, I was eager to take on more challenges. My teacher, Junaid Ahmad, guided me through my second project, which was focused on building a system for managing student feedback. This time, the goal was to create a platform for students to submit feedback about their university teachers, and the feedback would be stored and managed through a dashboard. It was an exciting opportunity to build a system with real-world application in education.

About The Project

This feedback management system was specifically designed for universities. The project allowed students to submit their feedback on teachers, and the data would be processed in the backend. The dashboard enabled administrators to view, organize, and analyze the feedback efficiently. One key feature of the project was the implementation of a secure login system, which Junaid Ahmad guided me through in great detail. What I Learned

Starting The Study Space Project

My third project was Study Space, a comprehensive platform for students to download books in PDF format. This project was a real-world application that I completed with my second teacher, Abid Elahi. It focused on creating an efficient way for students to access and download study materials after logging into the system. If a student couldn't find a book, they could submit feedback via the front end, helping maintain an up-to-date resource list.

The project also featured a detailed admin dashboard where books could be uploaded and managed. The admin had control over all uploaded content, ensuring the availability of relevant study materials. Additionally, the system included a user login feature for both students and admin to secure the platform. This project really highlighted the importance of user access control and dynamic content management.

What I Learned

Through this experience, I learned how to integrate a front-end login system with a back-end dashboard for managing resources, giving me practical insights into real-world project needs. The collaboration with Abid Elahi helped sharpen my skills and understanding of full-stack development.

Starting The P.O.S Project

My fourth project, Point of Sale, was a major milestone in my development journey. I had the opportunity to work on this project alongside my seniors, Faisal Sir and Abid Elahi Sir, which made it even more significant. This system was designed for managing a shop's inventory, customer purchases, and daily operations efficiently. Every product sold in the shop had its details and information stored in the system, and whenever a customer made a purchase, their transaction data was saved in the database.

One of the standout features of this project was its advanced reporting capabilities. It generated detailed reports on everything, from individual user activities to overall shop performance. These reports helped the shop management track sales, inventory levels, and customer behavior, making it a comprehensive tool for running a business. I previously collaborated with my teachers, Abid Elahi and Faisal Sab, on an older version of a Point of Sale (POS) system that utilized mysqli. However, to keep up with modern development practices, I decided to take on the challenge of creating a new version of the POS system, converting it to use PHP PDO and updating its template for a better user experience.

The new POS system is designed to streamline the sales process in retail settings, offering functionalities such as product management, sales tracking, and inventory control. The transition to PDO not only enhanced the security and performance of the system but also simplified database interactions.
